welp im starting my new life down here in savannah all by myself! … well not really I got my cat yuffie AND i might be adding a new member to the family with an adorable kitty named sarafina. hopefully ill be getting her at the end of this week if the lovely hurricane irene allows me to venture out of savannah O.o.

im also working on a new drawing for a new painting!

and i might have a job! or two! 

things seem to be looking up for me and im super excited to start classes on sept 12th :D.

ive just been in an overall good mood lately and i hope things continue to work out in m favor i could really use the good luck :)

im FINALLY all set up in my new apartment in Savannah and i even set myself up wit ha sweet studio space which means time to get to work on some new paintings! ive got a new idea for a painting that im drawing out right now not sure what medium i want to work in just yet :/ id like to get more digital practice in but not sure if my old mac book pro will be able to handle it, photoshop shut down last time i was working on something saying i have low disk space and i lost everything. maybe ill just take a bunch of stuff off of my computers hard drive and put it all on the external so i have more space to paint. Im also contemplating getting a new iMac solely for art purposes and keeping my laptop for general usage. but for now ill just probably back it all up on the external and make room for painting on the laptop :/.

senior show is in ONE FREAKIN WEEK holy crap….

tomorrow night im matting and framing like a beast 

today im painting all day til work tonight

and painting and freaking out for the rest of the week

im not even sure how many of my illustrations i can fit considering the fact that there are 30 of us crammed into a small space, we all only get 3.5 feet of wall space :/ my smallest frames are 16x20 inches mehhh im gonna have to figure SOMETHING out

my business cards came in and they look FAB so exited, my highschool art teacher gave me her mat cutter which was the nicest thing everrr now i can cut my own mats without fighting everyone for the one mat cutter in the illustration department :D

anyway thats a small update on the happenings in my life!

so GREAT news came in just now, I got into the MFA Animation program at SCAD! with a scholarship! i just wanted to share my good news with all my tumblr peeps!! :D!
